This Charity Raid Train, our streamers voted for raising money for the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF)! PCRF has been providing critical care and relief in Palestine since 1991 and have been even more essential in providing aid since the beginning of Israel's escalated actions in Palestine in 2023.
PCRF's
Mission & Vision
Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF), founded in 1991 by concerned humanitarians in the USA, provides free medical care to thousands of injured and ill children yearly who lack local access to care within the local health care system. Over the years, PCRF has sent over 2,000 affected children abroad for free medical care, sent thousands of international doctors and nurses to provide tens of thousands of children free medical care in local hospitals, and provided tens of thousands of children humanitarian aid and support they otherwise would not get.
PCRF's impact also included establishing two pediatric cancer departments in Palestine, a new PICU and pediatric cardiology department in Ramallah, and many more critical projects to sustainably bolster the region's healthcare system, which have all been lost due to Israel's attacks on the Gaza strip.
PCRF envisions a world where all children in the Middle East have access to quality medical care, humanitarian aid, and specialized surgical procedures.
PCRF's mission is to provide medical and humanitarian relief collectively and individually to children throughout the Levant (modern Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Israel, Jordan, and Cyprus), regardless of their nationality or religion.
PCRF's Work
The PCRF is the main nonprofit in the world sponsoring and running international volunteer medical teams to work in public hospitals in Palestine and in Lebanon's refugee camps to provide free specialized care for sick and injured children who otherwise would not get the care that they need.
Thousands of doctors and nurses from the USA, Italy, Chile, France, Germany, Spain, Japan, Australia, Egypt, Canada, Switzerland, and many other countries give their time and expertise to train local doctors and treat thousands of children each year.
Over the past six years, over 500 medical teams consisting of thousands of volunteers from all over the world have given their time and experience to travel to the Middle East through the PCRF to treat thousands of children.
The PCRF continues to be the main humanitarian relief organization in the Middle East providing surgery in local hospitals by sending teams of volunteer doctors and nurses there to operate on children, as well as providing training and experience to local staff. For over 25 years, the PCRF has been the main NGO in the Middle East arranging free medical care through volunteer medical missions.
